Reinventing the Brochure

Exploring the boundaries of marketing is what we do at Gunn|Jerkens – and when it comes to innovating for our clients, we go all the way! Most recently our creative team took a fresh approach when designing brochures for Camden at Playa Vista by Brookfield Residential and SL70 by Trumark Homes. The result redefined what a brochure could be through innovative design and content.


Camden at Playa Vista is at the heart of Silicon Beach – modern, stylish and distinctive. Its fashion-magazine-style brochure was designed with the laid-back beachy locale in mind. The photo-journalistic spreads and editorial-type content convey the “East Coast brownstone meets beachy Westside” vibe of the Camden lifestyle, while the cover sports a nod to the modern, mobile-centric consumer — a QR code.


SL70’s nonchalant, foldable brochure breaks new ground and keeps it simple. A hand-drawn illustrative map inked by a local depicts the vibe of Silver Lake, while the edgy imagery feels right at home. On the flipside, the layouts showcase the design-centric living that defines the SL70 lifestyle.
